He was on our shed and unable to get out until we got our shovel for the snow today.
I went looking for him crying for three hours walking in the freezing rain and calling him with no sign or sound. He wears a bell too so I can hear him. I make it back soaked. he's sitting there on the porch like nothing happened prances over to me and knocks me over.
I guess our pup wanted a vet visit! He was found by their staff in the vets parking lot! Several miles from home!
She was hiding under a couch that is so low I didn’t think she could fit in there and wasn’t responding to her name or the shaking of treats for over an hour of searching for her in the house and around the neighborhood. Unbelievable.
I left the car windows open that night. She was in the passenger seat when I got up the next day.
We searched every day and night all around our neighborhood and in the woods and found him in a fox hole deep in the woods.
My super senior 17 year old Lhasa Apso got lost when my neglectful mother left him unattended in the ungated backyard for 30+ minutes in the cold December weather. She didn’t notify me that he was missing for hours later! When she finally called me at work, I immediately reported him missing on Petkey. The person who found him didn’t call my number listed on his tag (which he was still wearing when I retrieved him) and was scanned an hour later at a vet’s office. He ended up being transferred to a high kill shelter that was closed the day I thankfully got a call from Petkey. WHY the woman who found him didn’t just CALL-me, I’ll never find out, but if it weren’t for petkey, I wouldn’t be able to spend my final Christmas with my sweet little Lhasa Apso who would’ve been euthanized the next day since the shelter called me too late and on a day that it was closed. Petkey 100% did an amazing job, the shelter did NOT!
It is a long and crazy story that I would love to share some day. The bottom line is Oreo came home a week after he went missing. Thank goodness!
Neighbor found him and called my phone number in his name tag.
Our neighbor heard a faint meow, as we were out again roaming the neighborhood looking for her. He told us he heard a weak meow, we followed him to where he heard it come from, 20 feet up in a tree there she was. We had to call a tree trimming service who attempted to get her down, scared of them she jumped, landed on her chest to weak to land on her feet. The neighbor explained he rented the house out as an Air B&B and the last renters had 2 big huge dogs who must’ve chased my poor cat up the tree where she stayed for weeks! Thanks to Miami Shores Animal Clinic, she was treated, given IV fluids and is doing great. We’re so blessed to have Peaches back home. P.S. we are trying to make her an indoor cat from now on!
Thank you Petkey for getting Maya back to us!
We are very fortunate that Cleo found her way back home to us at 11:00 pm last night. We had been out in the wind and rain searching for her since we noticed she was gone. It was very sad to have to call it a night, knowing she was still out there. I called out for her one last time before going to bed, and at last, I heard her meow. She came running up to the apartment, cold and wet from the rain. Hopefully, she learned a lesson and won't try to sneak out again.
In addition to Petkey, we also have an Apple Airtag on Rockit's leash. This morning there was an updated location ping. When I went to the locations it turns out Animal Control located him and was about to call me after scanning his microchip.
Someone contacted me on Facebook they had found Nala based on my posted I listed about her being missing.
He was found stuck in a storm drain and is safe and healthy! Fire department helped get him out.
Jerry was missing all day long, and we were so upset. But this evening, my husband and I were calling for him on the back porch, and we heard distant meows! So we kept calling and the meows started to sound closer and finally we saw him winding his way through the woods behind our house! He ran straight for us and he ran right inside! He was wet, dirty, and hungry - but safe and sound!!
My neighbor was working in his yard and placed her in his fenced yard I started looking for her in my car and he flagged me down. There she was safe and sound. They happiest day ever!!
I was walking around neighborhood shaking his treat bag this evening and I heard him crying - he was locked in a neighbors shed - or actually had found a way into a locked shed and couldn’t get out
A woman called me from the flyers I placed out and told me that she had my baby
That’s how we got reunited!
So glad she’s home and she is microchipped
REUNITED!!!
