Juli from kitty rescue helped me tremendously she recommended me to try two time frames 11 pm and 4 am in the morning. 4 in the morning was successful he heard me calling him. He called out to me and I went to him. He ran straight to the apartment front door . His sister was waiting for him.
I had not previously registered the microchip (which I now obviously regret), so I called the closest emergency clinic, and described the doofus, and of course a Good Samaritan had picked his silly self from the road. Turns out we have a local animal shelter where you can just drop off a dog in the middle of the night (it's heated and safe, the emergency clinic reassured me). And so I guess that is where he will stay the night until we can pick him up in the morning. REGISTER YOUR MICROCHIP IN ADVANCE AND KEEP IT UPDATED! Peace.
Kona attempted to come home and the swim school across the street put her in the fenced yard. They took her to the vet and we were contacted by Petkey! Please chip your pets! It makes so much difference! And Kona is home!
Dudley was found in the crawl space under the house. That area had been searched multiple times, but he had stayed hidden. I searched again one night and he revealed himself! He spent 4 days under the house. So happy to have him home safe!!!
Someone saw the post on FB and called us. It was our baby Diesel! He was all the way across town about 15miles from the house
This morning as I was leaving to take my children to school we saw him on the sidewalk by our walkway. I slowly got out of the car and he recognized but he took off again. We searched the neighborhood and eventually put up flyers. When I got back home, my friend mentioned to leave some food and water out front. So I did. Not more than 10 mins later I hear a scratch at the door and at the same time my phone rings. Bewley is at the door and slowly open and he backs away. My other dog runs downstairs and he sees her and he slowly walks into the house and when he’s fully in, I close the door. The call was from my husband who was telling me the ring was showing him at our door step. We are beyond relief. Thank you to everyone who has reposted and been so helpful!!
!!!REUNITED!!! Thank you everyone for helping!!!
Came meowing on the front doorstep at 5am! My sweatshirt I worn all day and a fully previously worn outfit(aka dirty laundry)were by the doorsteps on our front porch. His litter box and blanket was on the back porch doorstep.
The entire community came together, even when I was out of the state to help. They shared sightings with me, communicated with each other and took so much time out of there every day lives.
He must have been shut up in someone’s apartment or something, because I came home from shopping and he came zooming out from under a car and ran to the door. He’s now gobbling down food like he’s starving and demanding attention. I’m so glad he’s home!
At 12:20 a.m. TK showed up at the back door crying. He had been missing for 1 weeks. I believe someone had him as he looks well and taken care of. We live in a wooded mountain area . He has stuck to me like glue since coming home and even slept all night on my chest.
I'm so thankful that he was well taken care of and is now home safe and sound . I have ordered a tracker for him if he ever decides to go out again. My community was awesome in trying to help find him. I'm Blessed !!
Otis found a female in season and refused to leave until he met her. Now unfortunately there’s another dog that resembles him missing in a nearby area. Thankfully the chip will clear up the situation quickly. Highly recommend microchipping.
She was only three blocks from the house. A neighbor found her. She was fed and well cared for. I am grateful she is back home.
He was down the street still in the trailer park. He can't resist the wooded creek area behind my place. Too many critters to chase. Coons, ground hogs, moles, mice, possum, rabbits.
We set out his litter, food, his blanket, alerted everyone near by us, checked outside constantly, and mostly prayed. Thankfully he came back after two nights away.
Caller from Facebook community lost dog post found him and notified me.
A woman found her hiding under a bridge in a thunderstorm. She posted a picture of her on Facebook about 30 hours after she had gone missing. I immediately messaged her and I had her home within 45 minutes of the post.
After walking the neighborhood and talking to whoever we came across, to making facebook posts, and freaking out. Azul was found in our backyard curled up between some flower pots, he’s never been outside. I was so relieved to see Azul is safe and will be coming back home.
We heard meowing at 6am in the morning we came out and it was Kiwi. He is back home !
Poster was shared all over social media and we were contacted by a neighborhood where she was located, someone was kind enough to take her in a give her a place to sleep until we were located.
Qwerty got lost in July 2023 after a delivery driver left a gate open. There was no sign of him for months and then we got a call this morning that he was at the shelter. A Good Samaritan went outside after hearing what the thought was a car crash and saw Qwerty in the road. Aside from being a lot skinnier, he seems to be in good health.
