The Cirneco dellÆEtna is a dog that can endure harsh terrain and long hours without food or water. This dog is elegant with a slender build and long limbed, with a square outline and upright ears that are always alert.

Origin
The Cirneco dellEtna, a native of Sicily, was used in the past as a sight hound. Today they are still used to track sight, scents and sound but also make charming pets and are wonderful show dogs as well.
