Description
This medium-sized dog is a popular hunting dog that has a soft coat that is medium length. The ears are flappy and down with a long tail.

Temperament
These dogs are very intelligent and attentive which makes them very trainable. These strong-willed dogs may be hard to control at times but consistent training is necessary. This sporting dog loves to swim to get the plenty amount of exercise needed.
Origin
The Small Munsterlander Pointer originates from Munster, Germany and was bred as a hunting, pointing and retrieving breed. They are hard workers and were known to hunt bird and small game. Small Munsterlanders still remain a rare breed in the United States.
