Description

Large head, thick bones, broad muzzled with a short face. Muscular built with a body that narrows toward the hind legs.

Coloring

All brindles, solid white, pied, fawn, red, fallow.

Temperament

Loyal, reliable, good with small children and other family pets. Gentle with all people and very couragious, excellent guarding abilities.

Origin

The Victorian Bulldog breed began in London in 1985, started by one man; Ken Mollett. Mollett was saddened by so many unhealthy Bulldogs, that he wanted to bring back the taller, healthier Bulldog of the 1800s. Victorian Bulldogs lineage includes Bullmastiffs, Dogue de Bordeaux, and the healthiest Bulldogs to be found.
