Description
The Mountain Feist has a short and smooth coat that has spots. The ears are long and pointy, or fold down. The neck is medium length and strong, the chest is fairly deep and well ribbed. The tail is set high and carried erect for this high-spirited dog.

Mainly light brown, black and white
Temperament
This dog is bred for hunting with its high energy, but is also very lovable. These dogs are intelligent and curious which makes them perfect for hunting. The Feist can also be protective around people when needed.
Origin
Brought to America long before the Rat Terrier, these dogs have been mentioned by a few presidents such as Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.
