Temperament
The Jindo is an independent dog that possesses a strong will and will try to get things their own way. These dogs like to roam and have a generally free spirit, but can be protective and territorial.
Origin
Jindos originate from Korea and were bred to hunt small game as well as rodents. The Korean Army used the Jindo breed as guard dogs, where it is said they can learn to recognize thousands of individual smells.
