It has a deep broach chest, small ears, black nose, heavy muzzle, prominent dark eyes that are set wide apart, tight cat feet, and straight tail.

As passionate hunters, they are fast, attentive and brave. As house pets, they are affectionate, intelligent, obedient and easy-going companions.

Origin

The Treeing Tennessee Brindle is an old, but rare breed that originated in the United States. They heritage lies in mystery, but it is believed that the Plott Hound and other Cur Dogs that were all brindle contributed to the breed we know today. Treeing TennesseeÆs were selectively bred to have the best hunting and trailing skills.
